200 HOUR YOGA TEACHER TRAINING

We are excited to announce the creation of the Seva Yoga School of Yoga and it's first 200 hour teacher training.

This training IS certified by The Yoga Alliance, a US based non-profit membership trade and professional organization for yoga and fostering and supporting high quality, safe, accessible and equitable teaching of yoga.  Yoga Alliance is a voluntary community of more than 100,000 yoga schools and teachers worldwide, representing high quality training and teaching.  Yoga Alliance certification is recognized by yoga studios worldwide.

Applications for this training will be taken after March 24th.  On March 24th, we will hold an Information Session at Seva Yoga, beginning at noon.  I encourage you to attend if possible if you are interested.  There I will go over more of the details and expectations of the program, answer any questions, and tell you how to apply and how to reserve your spot.  If you cannot attend the Information Session, that information will be posted here after the meeting.

Please register for the Info Session on the Schedule page of this website!

Space is limited.  The course will run with 3 to 10 participants.

APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY APRIL 14TH WITH DEPOSIT.  CLICK BELOW TO UPLOAD THE APPLICATION.

THE DETAILS

A 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training is a big commitment of time and money.  It is available and accessible and doable to all who choose to undertake it.  While many people take a Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) with the intent to teach, that is not a necessary goal.  Many people take the training to deepen their own knowledge and practice of yoga.

Financial Investment

This YTT is available for the tuition cost of $2500.  This covers all in person training, supervision, assistance and certification. It also covers unlimited access to all classes at Seva Yoga.  It does not cover required reading materials.

Seva Yoga Members pay a discounted rate of $2000.

There is also a $100 discount for those who choose to pay with cash, check or Venmo.

Requirements

Seva Yoga School of Yoga will accept any person over the age of 18 who choose to engage in this journey.  Some knowledge of yoga is required, but beginning practitioners are welcome.  There will be a short application where participants can explain their interest and goals in this program, to assure that they align with and are achievable by this program.

Time Commitment and Schedule

This program runs one weekend a month for 8 months.  Times are Fridays from 5:00 - 9:00 pm, Saturdays from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and Sundays 8:00 to 4:30 pm.  There are also outside of class tasks, readings, homework and projects.  The schedule of weekends are below:

June 7. 8 and 9
