FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS!

QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR ACCOUNT? PROBLEMS WITH PAYMENT? NEED TO CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP?

 Go to your account page.  An easy way to get there is to pretend you are registering for a class.  You will see a face icon in the top right corner.  Click on that to access your account, or to contact Ubindi, which is my scheduling platform.  They are REALLY helpful and REALLY quick, and very adept at figuring out what went wrong and how to fix it.  They have been awesome in their support.  And while you are waiting for a fix, please contact me about any classes you want to take.  We can work that part out easily as well.  Don't be frustrated.  Don't be annoyed.  We will make sure you can get your yoga!

OH NO!  THE SITE IS ASKING FOR A PASSWORD??????

Ok, so you set a password when you set up your account....we all know....lots of passwords are hard to keep straight, and you may have forgotten where you wrote it down.  No worries.  Go to the log in screen (if you dont see it when you try to register, hit the follow button in the left hand column of the Ubindi sign up page, or widen your screen).  There is a little white "Forgot your password?" under the log in square.  Click on it and you will be saved!  Now....write it down!

WHAT IF I NEED A REFUND?

If we make a mistake, we will offer you a full refund, or, if you like, some free classes.  If you change your mind about something, you can try to cancel your reservation using the method below.  If canceling is not/no longer an option (depending on what you have purchased) but you have changed your mind, you can request a refund, and we will may be able return your payment minus the credit card fees we are obligated to pay. Other errors made may not result in a refund, so please read closely so that you know and understand what you are purchasing.  Note that workshop fees will be non-refundable due to hiring of presenters, or creating purchasing materials based upon sign ups.

IS IT OK IF I HAVE NEVER DONE YOGA OR CAN'T TOUCH MY TOES?

Absolutely!  Just let the instructor know that you are a newbie!  We will take great care of you!  Yoga is for EVERYONE!

HOW DO I REGISTER FOR A CLASS?

Head to the SCHEDULE section to see the selection and select the class you want., then hit "Click here to register".  Hit "Newbie" and follow the prompts.  It will ask you for an email address, a password and to sign our waiver.  It will also send a code to your email to verify, so be ready for that.  Once you do all of this the first time, registering will be much faster and easier. 

WHY DO I NEED TO PRE-REGISTER?

There are several reasons we ask that students pre-register for class.  One, it lets us know who is coming. Two, we make sure we have all of your information and that you understand/sign our waiver.  Three, we do not have the capacity at the studio to take cash or credit cards.  All of that is done through our website. If you get to the studio and find you forgot to pre-register, you can pull out your phone and do it on the spot.  But be careful.  If there is no one registered for a class before it begins, it may get cancelled.

HOW DO I UNREGISTER FOR A CLASS?

If you sign up for a class and find that, for whatever reason, you cannot go, no worries.  We just ask that you cancel as soon as you know so that someone else can take your place.  

To cancel a class, go to the schedule and find the class you registered for.  Click on the name of the class.  You will be directed to another screen.  At the bottom of that screen, you will see the word GOING, with an icon of a little guy running to the class.  Click on GOING and it will give you the option to cancel.  If for whatever reason that does not work, please send me a message through the Contact Page of the website.  Please use this as your last resort.  While I certainly don't mind cancelling for you, sometimes I am not available to do that right away.  Thanks for helping me out with this.

AM I SUPPOSED TO LOG IN TO THE SEVA WEBSITE?

No, there is no need to log into the website.  To do anything with the classes and the schedule, just head into the SCHEDULE page.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING WITH ME?

We have most everything you need at the studio, but most students prefer to bring their own mats.  We recommend this for hygiene and also so you have the best mat for your practice.  But, if you forget, or don't yet have your own mat, we have some you can borrow!

WHAT IF I FART DURING CLASS?

You cannot believe the number of times I have been asked this question!  Yoga does a lot of work with the digestive system.  There is even a pose called Wind Removing Pose!  So....you may pass some gas!  So what?  It happens to the best of us.  We laugh and move on! However, the more you do yoga, the more efficient your digestive system gets so this tends to happen less and less.  

HOW DO I KNOW WHAT CLASS IS RIGHT FOR ME?

All of our classes, with the exception of Power Yoga, are suitable for all levels, abilities and experiencs.  You can read through the Class Descriptions and see which one feels right for you. But if you are still not sure, please feel free to go to the Contact Page and send us a message and we will help guide you to a good place for you to start!

CAN I GET A GIFT CERTIFICATE FOR SOMEONE ELSE?

Absolutely!  We see gift certificates for 5 class passes and 10 class passes.  Email Cathy or see her in the studio to get one!

I WENT TO SIGN UP FOR A CLASS AND IT HAD BEEN CANCELLED!  WHAT HAPPENED?

Could be a couple of things.  It could be weather related.  It could be instructor illness.  Or iit could be that no one had signed up....it is our policy to cancel a class an hour before the scheduled start if no one has signed up.  Some of our instructors do not live in town; it is disappointing to drive all the way in and find there is no one to teacher?  If someone happens to be at the studio anyway, and there is a class upcoming, they may wait and see if someone signs up at the last minute, but that is at their discretion.  However, if you are signed up for a class and we have to cancel for whatever reason, we WILL email you and let you know!  Bottom line....don't wait until the last minute to sign up, and try to be flexible.....sometimes things happen beyond our control.  It is not our intention to cancel frequently and we are very sorry when we need to.  Reach out if you have any questions or concerns about this.

 

CAN I BRING MY CHILD TO CLASS WITH ME?

All of our classes, with the exception of Family Yoga, are geared towards adults.  If you would like to bring a child over the age of 14 you may do so.  If you would like to bring a child under 14, please have a conversation with Cathy about your particular situation.  All children must be accompanied by an adult taking the same class, mst be registered and are subject to the same fees.
